Felix’s Big Day!
The day finally arrived.
Jen and I went to the Hospital Monday, November 20th, 2006 to help bring Felix into the World.
We checked in around 10:30a and 12 hours (10:30p) later Jen’s bag of waters broke.
After a solid 6+ hours of Labor on Tuesday November 21st, 2006 we welcomed
8lbs 15 oz.
21 inches
at 3:39am.
This is a very significant date because 1). it’s HIS birthday and 2). it was his great-grandfather’s
birthday as well (William Lee Graves, dec.12.3.99).
We were joined by Jen’s Maid of Honor, Melinda Hickey during the birth for both physical and emotional support.
The Hospital is Kaiser of Oakland, Labor and Delivery dept. The staff there were exceedingly kind, efficient and supportive during the entire process. Jen and I were very grateful for their attentiveness, especially myself who hasn’t spent hours watching “Birthday” on Discovery Health.
We both want to thank everyone who sent their regards and good wishes prior to and after delivery. We are both very grateful to be part of such a large and supportive group of friends.

You can be sure that we will be updating this site more and more as we learn, play and discover with our Son, Felix Maxwell Badde.
